Kabisurya Baladev Vigyan Mahavidyalaya (K.B.V.Mahavidyalaya), Kabisurya Nagar has established in the year 1983, in the Ganjam district of Odisha state. The institution was setup in the honour and memory of the Son of the soil, the Great Legendary odia poet, Kabisurya Baladev Rath. The institution is affiliated with the Berhampur University, Odisha for Under Graduation courses in the faculties of Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Education, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science & Zoology . The institution came under the UGC fold in the year 2007 with affiliation of 2(f) & 12(B) This is a Co-Educational institution imparting higher studies of around sixty nearby villages of twenty five Gram panchayats occupying approximately one thousand students.

The institution is located in the eastern heart of the Kabisuryanagar town in a greenery environment with conducive atmosphere for research, teaching & learning curricular and extracurricular activities. The institution is well connected with the state highways and proximity with the universities and nearest cities of Berhampur, Bhubaneswar and Cuttuck in Odisha.

The institution is enriched with well qualified faculties with their excellence in research & teaching. A good number of qualified support staff also participating in the daily administration of the institution. The institution has latest infrastructure with smart class rooms & laboratories to meet the demand of current era.
