There exists a large skill gap between the skill acquired by College passed out students in India and the skill required for the industries. The feedback received from tracer study of the College passed out students, industry institute interaction and reports from Chamber of Indian Industries (CII). It is observed that the College passed out students are not compatible with industries.
To enhance the skill of College passed out to become more compatible with industries and to reduce the skill gap a new concept "Teaching hospital approach to College Education by Teaching Factory" is proposed and implemented at Government College, Kabisurya Baladeva Vigyan Mahavidyalaya.
This method is just like the teaching imparted to medical students both in medical college and hospital. Professors from medical college and hospital are involved in teaching both in theory and practical classes. Same time they make treatment of the patients in the hospital. The medical students have a direct interaction with patients.
After implementation this methodology the wage employment isincreased from 60% to 90%, the salary of the students is increasedby 25 to35 % and the confidence level of the students is increased.
